Penn PENNdemonium ( Pittsburgh, PA )

Something has gone terribly wrong (or terribly right depending on your view) in the Brewhouse. One of the brewers must have added too much malt to the mash and made a very strong beer. Stronger than your used to from the brewery that makes authentic German styles. This super strong beer has put the whole place in a state of pandemonium.
- The beer is golden colored but very heavy with alcohol of about 8% by volume. It’s dangerously easy to drink, so as the bottle label states: “You’ve been warned.”

Penn Brewing Company
Pennsylvania Brewing Company was founded in 1986 by Tom Pastorius to brew authentic German beers, making it the first microbrewery in Pennsylvania and a pioneer in the microbrewery movement. The brewery and its restaurant are located in the historic Eberhardt and Ober Brewery in Pittsburgh. The brewery is an authentic German brewery in every detail; from its solid copper brewhouse imported from Germany, fermentation and aging tanks, filtration equipment, kegging and bottling equipment to its imported ingredients, recipes, methods and German brewmaster. All beers are made in accordance with the German beer purity law called the "Reinheitsgebot" which means that only the four classic ingredients are used: malted barley (and/or wheat), hops, water and yeast. Adjuncts such as corn and rice are never used and preservatives and stabilizers are likewise verbotten.
