Erie Mad Anthony's APA ( Erie, PA )

Mad Anthony's Ale is amber in color and has a subtle floral aroma and mild caramel flavor. East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops help make it spicy on the palate. A very drinkable beer with a pleasant, smooth finish.

Erie Brewing Company
The modern day Erie Brewing Company opened in January 1994 as part of Hoppers Brew Pub in Union State. In 1999, it broke away to become a brewery in its own right, adding bottling capability. The original Erie Brewing company was founded in 1889 and closed in 1976. It had the Koehler, Olde Pub, Imperial brands and in the last part of its history when the Iroquois Brewery closed, it took over that brand.
