Dogfish Head Chicory Stout ( Milton, DE )

Dogfish Head Chicory Stout is a rich, dark beer made with a touch of roasted chicory, organic Mexican coffee, St. John's Wort and licorice root. It is rewed with whole-leaf Cascade and Fuggles hops. This beer won 2 gold medals at Chicago's Real Ale Festival in 1998.

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats opened as Delaware’s first brewpub opened in June 1995 in the resort community of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It was the smallest commercial brewery in America, with a 12-gallon brewery capacity. Ten months after opening, this was expanded into a piecemeal 300-gallon brewery and a thirty-fold expansion of the brew house.
