Brooklyn East India Pale Ale ( Brooklyn, NY )

Brooklyn East India Pale Ale was created as a summer seasonal, but became a year round offering in 1996. It is brewed with Engnlish malts and hops in the classic, heavily-hopped style of the 19th century beers created for British soldiers serving in India. East India Pale Ale is extremely dry and has a strong hop aroma.

Brooklyn Brewery
The Brooklyn Brewery is located in the historic Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. In 1984, Associated Press correspondent Steve Hindy returned from a six-year stint in the Middle East and settled in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood. Hindy had caught the homebrewing bug from diplomats stuck in Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where alcoholic beverages were forbidden.
