Anderson Valley Summer Solstice Ale
( Boonville, CA )

Not just your average summer seasonal. This unique copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.

Anderson Valley
When it opened in 1987, Anderson Valley Brewing Company was housed in the lower level of its brewpub, The Buckhorn Saloon, in Booneville, CA. The brewery has moved and expanded twice since.

In 1996, When the demand for award winning Anderson Valley's ales exceeded the capacity the original 10-barrel brewery, a new 30-barrel facility was built at the corner of Highways 128 and 253, a mile from the center of Boonville.

Within only two yearsd for an even larger and more efficient operation led to the construction of the current the Bavarian-style brewhouse, with large windows revealing the gleaming 100- and 85- barrel copper brew kettles within. The kettles were rescued by owner Ken Allen from defunct German breweries during a trip to Europe in 1995. Construction began in 1998 and the new brewhouse went online in August of 2000.
